Bioelectronic interfaces enable the sensing and modulation of biological processes for basic research and primarily biomedical applications. New directions are also emerging, including applications in environmental monitoring and agriculture, biotechnology.
The main focus of the conference will be the interface between bioelectronic technologies and biological systems, with particular emphasis on understanding how to tune active material properties and device engineering to achieve seamless integration and high-performance signal transduction. The conference will cover well-established applications, such as multimodal neural interfaces, healthcare biosensors, and in vitro models, as well as less explored systems, including biohybrid interfaces, plant bioelectronics, and bioelectrochemical systems.
Within the 2nd edition of this international, multidisciplinary conference, we aim to bridge:
-biology
-engineering
-materials science
promoting a holistic view of bioelectronic systems for basic research, therapeutics, diagnostics, and emerging applications. We seek to bring together researchers with diverse expertise from around the world to share insights on bioelectronic interfaces. We hope that this conference will provide a comprehensive overview of the state of the art while also paving the way for future advancements in the field.
