Submit Your Application for the 2016 SITE Crystal Awards Recognition Program

For over 35 years, the Society for Incentive Excellence (SITE) Crystal Awards Recognition Program has provided industry acclaim for world-class organizations that excel in the design of unique and memorable incentive travel programs that deliver business results for their clients. Today, the awards serve as a benchmark for incentive travel programs and are regarded as the highest honor in the motivational events industry.
Applications are now open for the 2016 Crystal Awards program. Companies or organizations from around the globe involved with the sales, planning, marketing and/or operations of incentive travel programs can submit an application – you do not need to be a SITE member to apply. Programs operated between 1 May 2015 and 30 April 2016 are eligible.
“The Crystal Award is the most prestigious form of recognition in the global incentive travel industry,” said Rajeev Kohli, SITE President 2016. “The award not only recognizes the outstanding organizations that win them, but also showcases the innovative ways planners can create extraordinary motivational experiences to maximize human potential and achieve tangible business results for their companies.”
Entries will be evaluated by an independent panel of judges in areas including return on investment, creativity, mechanics, sustainability, cost management and overcoming implementation challenges. The following categories are available for entry:
- Distinctive Destination: Best Destination-Based Incentive Travel Program
- Excellence in Incentive Travel: North America
- Excellence in Incentive Travel: Latin America & Caribbean
- Excellence in Incentive Travel: Europe
- Excellence in Incentive Travel: Asia Pacific
- Excellence in Incentive Travel: Africa/Middle East
- Best Business Solutions: Most Effective Incentive Marketing Campaign
- Responsible Experiences: Most Impactful Effort Toward Corporate Social Responsibility as Part of an Incentive Travel Program or Most Environmentally Sustainable Incentive Program
To submit an application, fill out the online application form. Applicants will be notified about their status in August and winners will be announced at the Crystal Awards Ceremony, sponsored by IMEX Group, during the SITE Global Conference, 5-7 November in Panama.
In 2015, seven companies were recognized for creativity in program design, marketing, corporate social responsibility and, most importantly, business results. The winners included tourism organizations, incentive agencies, destination management companies and their clients, from a variety of industries worldwide.
